Why Gleam?

Hi! We are makers of Gleam the best, most accessible aligners because we believe everyone in the world has an inner smile that deserves to shine out. We call that a gleam.

Our mission exists to help you share your gleam with the world. To do that we want you to have a happy and healthy mouth, a healthy smile, one that makes you feel good from the inside out.

A smile that communicates how good you feel. A smile that when returned as you walk down the street starts to stitch together a community.

And that’s what we’re building, a community. And we want you to be a part of it.

How does the Gleam treatment process work?

Make an appointment for a 3D scan at one of our Gleam Studios. Your Gleam advisor will answer all of your questions regarding the treatment. A licensed orthodontic specialist is also always available for consultation through the Gleam platform.

During your appointment, a state-of-the-art 3D scanner will create a detailed scan of your teeth and your smile to see if you are eligible. It is a free, no-obligation assessment. If you are eligible for treatment (most cases are), a licensed orthodontic expert will evaluate your smile and design a customized, digital treatment plan showing the step-by-step transformation of your teeth.

Within three days, you will receive an email showing what your teeth and smile will look like, along with your custom designed Gleam treatment plan.

If you are satisfied, we ship your aligners directly to you within 2 weeks. Then, just start Gleaming.

For best results, wear your Gleam aligners 22 hours per day, however, a minimum of 6 hours continuously daily is required.

On average, you will wear each set of aligners for one to two weeks as directed by your Orthodontic Specialist. You can also check your progress anytime through the Gleam website and schedule an appointment any time you would like to check in with a doctor.

Book a final appointment at a Gleam Showroom once your treatment is finished to be fitted for your custom retainer to be worn nightly. The retainer helps teeth maintain their new position after the treatment and is included in the treatment price. Keep your Gleam forever!

What are aligners?

Aligners are transparent customized devices, which fit perfectly to your teeth. During your treatment, you change your aligners every one to two weeks, as your teeth gradually shift. At the end of your treatment, you will have straight teeth and a beautiful smile that will make you gleam!

What is a malocclusion?

Malocclusion refers to the technical term to describe any irregularities in the alignment of the teeth and the way the upper and lower jaw teeth fit together, also described as the bite.

Why can't every dental malocclusion be treated with the aligners?

The aligners are suitable for dental corrections including crowding, gaps and also twisted or protruding teeth. For more difficult cases, other treatment methods may be recommended.

How do I know that I am eligible for Gleam treatment?

Our Gleam treatment process begins with a smile assessment and a 3D scan at one of our Gleam Studios to determine if you are eligible for the Gleam aligners treatment. The smile assessment and 3D scan by orthodontic experts are free of charge. No strings attached.

The 3D scan itself performed by one of our orthodontic specialists takes 5min. The complete consultation visit at a Gleam Studio takes around 30min.

Is there a minimum age required to use Gleam aligners?

Minimum age required for Gleam aligners treatment is 13 years old. All permanent teeth must be present. Customers under the age of 18, need to provide a parent/guardian signature on the Medical and Dental History Form as well as the Consent Form provided during the registration and assessment step.

How long does the Gleam treatment take?

The length of your treatment depends on the complexity of your case and how much you wear your aligners. Our orthodontic specialists will determine your treatment plan based on your specific needs. On average, the Gleam treatment takes only four to eight months, though you can start seeing results in just a few weeks.

How often do I change the Gleam aligners?

Our orthodontic specialists will tell you in your customized treatment plan how often you need to change to new aligners. On average, the Gleam aligners are changed weekly or every two weeks.

If I am not able to commit to wearing my aligners 22 hours daily, does Gleam offer other options of tailored treatment?

Yes, with Gleam we can tailor your treatment plan to your specific personal needs and circumstances. If you do not have the possibility to wear the Gleam aligners 22 hours daily, we will design a specific tailored treatment plan that allows you to wear the Gleam aligners at your specific hours. The treatment may last a little bit longer. Timing is not as important if you prefer to wear the aligners at particular hours of the day or night only.
